Recruiting
Since our start, Check-Hers Elite has seen over 230 of our players secure spots on college teams at all NCAA division levels. We are proud of our track record of finding the right fit for our student-athletes and we believe we provide best-in-class recruiting services to our players if they choose to leverage them.
Every player’s recruiting journey is different, and they are in the driver’s seat. We support them with honest assessments of their level of play, and recruiting tools.
Tools Include:
- Seminar 1: Outlining the process (75 minutes)
- Seminar 2: Prior to Sept 1st to prepare for the next steps in the process for all divisions (60 minutes)
- Quarterly “to do” lists with support documents to navigate and utilize throughout the process.
- A reference list of tiered school programs so players can make a good match with their lacrosse talent and academic pursuits
- A packet of reference materials including sample emails
- A methodology for “casting a wide net” and access to a list of many upcoming prospect events
- An IWLCA SportsRecruits profiles for our players as they enter the recruiting funnel so they have access to the official digital recruiting platform of the IWLCA, including school data, program information, event film and more
- Access to our recruiting Coach Jess Onheiser of Recruit Her, LLC
Our coaches can also act as liaisons with college coaches to determine interest with adherence to the NCAA recruiting regulations. This can help with expectations and allow speedy recalibration of a player’s list of target schools, which is essential during the pressurized recruiting calendar after the September 1 communication gate opens. The best success we have seen for our players is when they target an appropriate institution based on talent and academic fit. It’s important to us that athletes find the right fit for them.
It is such an accomplishment for any athlete to play their sport in college - that in itself makes them elite! We are proud of all of our alumni, many of whom appear on various NCAA top 50 stats lists during the season, and have been selected for IWLCA All-Region teams, have been US Lacrosse All-Americans, and routinely appear on the IWLCA academic honor roll and earn various conference honors. Many also serve as team captains or hold program stat records.
